간만입니다 ㅎㅎ 지옥여행 씨리즈... Dimmu Borgir 의 Blessings upon The Throne of Tyranny 입니다.

간만에 드디어 한 곡 완성을 했군요. ㅎㅎㅎ

 

이번 곡은 이번에 우연찮게 구매하게 된 레독스 기타의 사운드 샘플입니다.

 

사실 깁슨 레스폴 오리지널 모델들 중에 하나를 구입하기 위해 이런 저런 깁슨을 알아보던 중이었는데요.

 

그러다가 정말로 우연찮게 레독스 레스폴을 구입하게 되었습니다.

 

레독스 LP커스텀 4차 진행분 이며, 기본 베이스는 레스폴 59를 가지고 레독스에서 40대 한정수량 커스텀 메이드 한 기타입니다.

 

정말 인간적으로 아주 훌륭한 기타가 아닐 수 없습니다.

 

원래 오리지널을 사려고 했던 마음을 한 번에 접어버리고 덜컥 구입한 기타이기때문에 나중에 사용기도 작성을 해 볼 생각입니다.

 

작업한 곡은 딤무보거의 명곡 중 하나이며, 제가 너무나 좋아하는 곡입니다.

 

레독스가 59를 바탕으로 만든 기타이기때문에 드라이브 질감이 이 곡에 맞지 않아서 배킹 연주는 원 곡의 뮤팅이 적당히 들어간 스타일 대신

 

뮤팅없이 오픈한 스타일로 작업했습니다. 아무래도 기타가 이런곡에서 제대로 밀어내주는 힘이 부족하다보니 어쩔 수 없는 선택이었습니다.

 

그러나... 기타 자체가 나쁜게 아니라(기타는 정말 기가막히게 좋습니다. 레스폴 사려고 매장까지 다니다가 이 기타를 접하고 구매했으니까요..)

 

기타 성향이 이 곡과 어울리지 않았던 것입니다. ㅎㅎㅎ

 

그래서 연주 스타일을 살짝 바꿨지만, 워낙 헤비한 곡이다보니 눈치채시기 힘들 것이라 생각합니다. ㅎㅎㅎㅎ

 

건반은 이번에는 오랜만에 waldorf 의 버츄얼 아날로그 신디인 blofeld 가 많이 사용되었습니다. ^^ 참으로 멋진 신디인것 같습니다.

 

기타는 레독스 LP 커스텀 하나로 했으며, 좌우 각각 95% 팬으로 배킹을 따로 레코딩 했으며, 솔로가 따로 한 트랙 들어갔습니다.

 

이번 곡은 의외로 건반이 8트랙 정도 들어간 곡입니다. ^^;;

 

베이스의 경우 소리로 원곡에서 따기가 너무 힘들어서 제가 그냥 대충 만들어 넣었는데, 기타 라인과 비슷하게 작업하였습니다만.... 기타의

 

리듬라인이 과연 원곡과 같게 되었는지는 장담 할 수 없습니다. =,,=;;

 

그냥 들리는 대로 작업하였습니다. ^^;;

 

이번에도 먀샬 JMP-1과 랙시콘 MPX G2의 다이렉트 레코딩이며, 기타톤은 조만간 사용기를 올릴 예정이므로 시퀀싱 툴에서 별도 후보정없이

 

믹싱하였습니다.

 

노래가 정말 힘들군요.

 

크래들의 대니 목소리는 저와 어울리는 부분이 있어서 생각보다 쉬운반면, 딤무보거의 보컬은 저와 키가 많이 달라서 상당히 에로사항이 꽃피

 

는것 같습니다. ㅋㅋㅋ
