안녕하십니까 여러분!  이젠 정말 완전한 여름이 아닐 수 없습니다!!

 

어린이 날에 아이들 데리고 산에 놀러갔다가 정말 익어 버리는 줄 알았습니다. ㅎㅎㅎㅎ

 

간만에  작업 한 곡은 어둠의 제왕 Dimmu Borgir 의 곡입니다. ㅎㅎ

 

레독스 기타의 새로운 양산픽업의 테스트 샘플로 작업한 곡이며, 곡명은 Hybrid Stigmata 라고 합니다.

 

픽업의 게인 성향을 파악하기에 이보다 더 좋은 곡이 있을까 싶을 정도로 멋지고 타이트한 리듬파트가 압권인 곡입니다.

 

헤비 그로울링 보컬에 기타또한 헤비한 리프가 넘쳐나지만, 역시 서정성을 잃지 않는 정말 묘한 곡이라고 생각합니다.

 

대부분의 딤무 곡들이 그러하지만, 역시 이 곡 또한 정말 곡 자체의 구성이 압권이라고 생각합니다.

 

하지만 정말이지 MR작업하기가 뭣같이 힘드네요. ㅎㅎ

 

제대로 된 악보는 당연 구할 길이 없기 때문에 손 가는대로 작업했으니 원곡과 건반파트들이 많이 틀리더라도 이해 부탁드립니다. ^^;;

 

사용된 기타는 레독스의 이글커스텀 이며, 장착된 픽업은 레독스에서 기획중인 5차 레스폴커스텀 작업및 다른 고가 라인에 쓰일 새로운

 

양산픽업이 장착 되었습니다.

 

이 양산픽업의 성향을 테스트 해 보기 위해 작업한 샘플이며, 늘 그랬던 것 처럼 MR도 직접 만들었습니다.

 

앞서 작업했던 dimmu borgir 의 Blessings Upon The Throne Of Tyranny  와 동일한 랙 환경으로, 톤 변경없이 레코딩 했는데요.

 

픽업의 성향은 레독스 4차분에 사용된 빈티지한 느낌의 픽업에서 한층 더 모던하고 공격적인 느낌의 성향으로 바뀌었습니다.

 

게인의 입자감이 틀리며 출력또한 좋아졌습니다.

 

하지만 칼칼한 느낌이라든가, 멋진 크린과 크런치 톤에서는 4차분 픽업보다는 조금 떨어지는 것 같습니다.

 

물론 출력 자체가 틀린 픽업이다보니 당연한 결과라고 생각합니다.

 

그리고 의외로 크린톤 사운드도 상당히 예쁜, 여러모로 모던한 느낌의 픽업 인 것 같습니다.

 

이 픽업을 달고 나올 기타들이 궁금해 지는군요. ㅎㅎㅎ

 

곡에서 들으시는 것 처럼 헤비한 톤에서는 정말 흠잡을 곳 없는 멋진 소리를 내 주는것 같습니다.

 

기타 레코딩에 사용한 장비는 jmp-1과 MPX G2 다이렉트 레코딩 사운드 입니다.

 

나머지 악기파트들을 위해서는 집에 있는 모든 건반과 모듈이 총 출동 해 주었습니다. ^^;

 

하지만 원 곡의 오케스트레이션 사운드의 느낌은 표현 불가네요 ㅎㅎㅎ
