HELLOWEEN - Keeper of the seven Keys 커버

헬로윈의 곡 중에서 제가 정말 좋아하는 곡입니다.

워낙 긴 곡이고, 구성이 드라마틱한 곡이다보니 그 동안 작업을 할까 말까 고민만 하다가 이제야 하게되었습니다.

사실 작업을 하게 된 결정적인 이유는, 요사이 뜬금없이 불면증이 시작되어서 잠 안오는 새벽시간에 조금씩 하다보니 

결국 완성을 해 버렸습니다. =,,=;;

특별한 이유없이 찾아오는 불면증은 정말 대단히 피곤하기는 하지만, 그 덕에 뭔가 공짜로 시간을 얻는 것 같은 기분이

들기도 합니다. ㅎㅎ

좌우지간 이런 이유로 완성된 곡입니다.

사용한 기타는 오래간만에 Ibanez 의 JPM P4 한대이며, 마샬 JMP-1과 랙시콘 MPX G2 를 이용한 다이렉트 레코딩

입니다.

곡이 길긴 하지만 건반이 자리하는 비중은 워낙에 적은 곡이다보니, 특별히 건반 작업에 신경을 쓴 부분이 없군요.

간만에 긴 곡 작업하면서 느낀 점이라면.... 아이바네즈 JPM이 정말 훌륭한 기타로구나... 하는 점이었습니다.

아직까지 페트루치가 아이바네즈에 시그니쳐를 만들어왔다면 뭔가 더 대단한 기타들이 많이 나왔을 텐데.. 아쉽습니다. ㅎㅎ

이 당시 헬로윈의 보컬이었던 키스케는 워낙 노래를 잘 하는 보컬이어서, 정말 제가 따라하기가 무척이나 벅찼습니다.

곡이 길다보니 기타고 보컬이고 작업하면서 점점 집중력이 떨어져서... =,,=;

만들고나서 보니 기타 솔로에 화음을 들어가지 않는 부분까지 집어넣어 작업을 했더군요.... ㅎㅎ

참 멋진 것 같습니다.

보컬은 제 목소리 컨디션이 좋을 때 다시 한 번 불러봐야겠습니다~

마지막 바다의 해변가 흙무더기 위에 그 놈이 앉아 있다.

그대의 시선이 집중된다.

냉혹하고 역겨운 목소리로, 아주 즐겁게 그놈이 그대의 기력을 빼앗아 간다.

 

이봐 넌 도대체 뭐 하는 녀석이야?

일곱 개나 되는 열쇠를 주렁주렁 달고 다니는 떠돌이구나.

그랬다가는 온 세상이 엄청나게 사나워질 거야.
